Though unable to attend due to college classes, Ellen was recognized at the 2007 Indiana Golf Hall of Fame dinner held at Meridian Hills Country Club.
Ellen began the season by finishing runner-up to Kristi Piepenbrink in the IWGA Match Play Championship at Rock Hollow Golf Club. She fired a 1 over par total at The Legends of Indiana to place third in the Indiana PGA Women’s Open, a event that was won by Future’s Tour member Danah Ford. She capped off her IWGA season with a runner-up performance in the Indiana Women’s Amateur Championship, losing in a playoff to Potter.
On the National scene, Mueller qualified for the 2007 US Women's Amateur held at Crooked Stick and played in the 2007 U.S. Amateur Public Links in
