In 1930, the WGA became the sponsor of the Evans Scholars Program, which was established by and named for
Chick wanted to give something back to the game of golf, and his dream became a reality in 1930 when the first two caddies attended
The Foundation has awarded full tuition and housing scholarships to 15 caddies from the state of
1.) strong caddie record; 2.) excellent academics; 3.) demonstrated financial need; 4.) outstanding character.
